Crochet Post Stitches

Crochet post stitches are so called because they are worked around the post of the
stitch, they can be used in a variety of designs from ribbing, cabling etc.

I have put together a pictorial below on how to do the front and back post using a dc
or tr (UK).

See my free Baby Puff Stitch Cardigan and Fringed Scarf patterns using this stitch.

Crochet Magic Circle Pictorial

A crochet magic circle is a neat way to work in the round, unlike the regular chain
loop which leaves a hole in the center, the magic way works by using the loop to

See some of my free crochet patterns using the magic circle:-
Cosy Mug Warmer, Round Table Mat and Cotton Floppy Sun Hat

The first picture shows a regular chain loop circle (on left) and a magic circle.
