Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Size to fit:   Approx 12-18 Month Baby

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn I have used approximately:-

15 grams of Paintbox Simply DK in colour 1
Small amount of Paintbox Simply DK in colour 2

4.00mm Clover Crochet Hook

TENSION – 5tr & 3.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Crochet Baby Headband

Make 74ch loosely, ss to first ch to form a ring,

1st Row – (RS) 3ch, 1tr into each ch to end, ss to top of 3ch on the beginning of row. Turn. (73tr + 3ch)

2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc at beginning of row. Turn (74dc)

3rd Row – Working into back loop of stitch only, make 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt 2nd and 3rd Rows once. Turn.

6th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Fasten off.

With WS facing, working along starting ch edge, work 1dc into ch to end, ss to first dc.

Fasten off.

Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.

Band – Using colour 2, make 95ch loosely, 1htr into 2nd ch from hook, 1htr into each ch to end.

Fasten off leaving a length of yarn to thread with.

Finishing – Starting from slip stitch edge, thread the band through alternate tr’s on centre row of tr’s around the headband, cross the ends and put a stitch through the cross to secure, attach dinky flower to top of cross.
