Easter Egg Basket

An Easter egg basket free crochet pattern for you to make for the upcoming holiday,
which would you believe is in just two weeks time. Making the baskets yourself and
hiding them around the house for an exciting egg hunt makes it just that bit more
special, they are the perfect size and can also be used afterwards to fill with little
treats for all year round occasions. These baskets will look good as decorations for
Easter even if you don’t have children around.

I have used spray starch to stiffen the basket and handle, put the basket over the bottom of an appropriate sized container (cover to protect the container i.e. tin can, end of bottle etc), then spray with starch, leave to dry and remove, do the same for the handle, once dry sew each end of handle to inside of the basket.

Decorate with a small bow and fill with small chocolate sugar coated mini eggs.
