UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in rows without turning until Row 5.

Using color 1 make a magic circle, with 5.50mm hook make 1ch, work 6dc in ring, pull loose strand of yarn to close circle, ss to first dc on beginning of row.

Row 2 – 1ch, 2dc in base of 1ch, 2dc in each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row.
Fasten off. (12dc)

Row 3 – With 4.00mm hook and colour 2, working into back loop of stitch only, make 3ch, work (1tr, 2ch, 2tr) into base of 3ch, * 1tr into each of next 2dc, (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, 1tr into each of 2tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.

Row 4 – Working through both loops of stitch from now on, make 3ch, 1tr into next tr, (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into next 2ch space, * 1tr into each of next 6tr, (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to last 4tr, 1tr into each of the 4tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.

Row 5 – 3ch, 1tr into next 3tr, (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into next 2ch space, * 1tr into each of next 10tr, (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to last 6tr, 1tr into each of the 6tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.

Row 6 – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each tr around square and (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) into each 2ch space to end. Fasten off.

Petals – Join in colour 3 with a ss to any of the loose loops you made on Row 3, work (3ch, 3tr, 3ch, ss) into same loop, * miss 1 loop, (ss, 3ch, 3tr, 3ch, ss) into next loop, * rpt from * to * to last loop, miss loop, ss to ss on beginning of row. Fasten off (6 petals)

Finishing – Weave in all loose ends of yarn and trim off.

Petals – Join in color 3 with a sl st to any of the loose loops you created on Row 3, (ch3, 3dc, ch3, sl st) in same loop, * skip 1 loop, (sl st, ch3, 3dc, ch3, sl st) in next loop, * rpt from * to * to last loop, skip loop, sl st to sl st on beginning of row. Fasten off (6 petals)

Finishing – Weave in all loose ends of yarn and trim off.
