Sleeve length (underarm to wrist) approx 3.5 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn I have used approximately:-

80 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby DK in Colour 1
20 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby DK in Colour 2

4.00mm Clover Crochet Hook, 3 small buttons

TENSION – 4tr and 2.5 rows measures approx 1 Inch

COAT – Worked in one piece starting with yoke.

With colour 1 make 49ch, (RS) 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end (46tr + 3ch). Turn.

Row 2 – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to end, working last tr into top of 3ch, (57tr + 3ch). Turn.

Row 3 – 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.

Row 4 – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into next tr * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 2tr * rpt from * to * to last tr and 3ch to turn with, 2tr into tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (76tr + 3ch)

Row 5 – Rpt Row 3. Turn.

Row 6 – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next 2tr * rpt from * to * to end, working last tr into top of 3ch (101tr + 3ch). Turn.

Row 7 – Rpt Row 3. Turn.

Row 8 – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next 2tr * rpt from * to * to end working last tr into top of 3ch (134tr + 3ch). Turn.

Row 9 (Divide for armholes) – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 22tr, miss 22tr, 1dc into each of next 45tr, miss 22tr, 1dc into each of next 22tr, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn. (91dc)

Commence Skirt – 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2dc, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 3dc, miss 2dc, 1dc into last dc. Turn. (30 textured groups)

11th Row – 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2st, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 3st, miss 2st, 1dc into last st. Turn.

Rpt 11th Row until 13 rows have been worked from yoke or work measures approx 8 Inches from shoulder. Fasten off.

Join in colour 2 and rpt 11th Row twice. Fasten off.

Sleeves x 2 – With RS facing join colour 1 to side of dc on base of armhole (where you divided) 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 22tr, work 1dc into side of dc at base of armhole on opposite side, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (24dc)

Next Row – 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2dc, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, miss 2dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (8 textured groups)

Pattern Row – 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2st, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2st, miss 2st, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row until 9 rows have been worked from the yoke or underarm seam measures approx 3 Inches. Fasten off.

Join in colour 2 and rpt Pattern Row twice. Fasten off.

Button/Buttonhole Bands – With RS facing join colour 1 to lower edge of right hand side front edge, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 31 more dc evenly into row ends along to corner, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch around neck, 3dc into corner, 32dc evenly into row ends down second front edge. Turn.

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 17dc, * make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each of next 6dc, * rpt from * to * once, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into last dc. Fasten off. (3 Buttonholes made).

Buttonhole Row – Return to first front edge, WS facing and colour 1, starting from the neck and working downwards, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off. Turn.

With RS facing and colour 2, start with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc up first front edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc around neck, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc and 2ch space down second front edge. Fasten off.

Finishing – Close small gap underarms, weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
