Vst. (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into same space or stitch.
3ch counts as first tr
Base of ch. Work into first stitch
Approx finished size: 44 Inches x 40.5 Inches
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn
I have used approximately:-
250 grams of Lion Brand Pound of Love in colour 1
280 grams of Lion Brand Pound of Love in colour 2
125 grams of Lion Brand Pound of Love in colour 3
TENSION – 4tr & 2 rows measures approx 1 inch

With colour 1 make 154ch loosely, 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into each ch to end. Turn. (151tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – 3ch, miss 1tr, vst (see abbrev) into next tr, * miss 2tr, vst into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr and 3tch, miss tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (50vst)
3rd Row – 3ch, 1tr into each tr and 1ch space to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt 2nd & 3rd Row twice.
# Fasten off. Join in colour 2.
Rpt 2nd Row.
Fasten off. Join in colour 3.
Rpt 3rd Row.
Rpt 2nd & 3rd Row three more times.
Fasten off. Join in colour 2.
Rpt 2nd Row.
Fasten off. Join in colour 1.
Rpt 3rd Row.
Rpt 2nd & 3rd Row three more times. #
Rpt from # to # 3 more times.
Fasten off. Join in colour 2
Border – 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each tr to 3tch, 3tr into top of tch, work 2tr into each row end down first side of blanket, 3tr into corner, 1tr into each ch along starting ch edge, 3tr into corner, 2tr into each row end up second side of blanket, 1tr into corner, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Next Row – 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, * (1dc, 2ch, 3tr) into next tr, miss 3tr, * rpt from * to * around all sides of blanket to end, ss to first dc.
Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim all loose ends of yarn.
