Free Crochet Stitch Tutorial-Alternate Single Crochet
Abbreviations USA
ch. Chain
sc. Single Crochet
Rpt. Repeat
Base of ch. Work in first stitch
Make a chain length in multiples of 2 + 1
First Row – 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * skip 1ch, 2sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch, work 1sc in last ch. Turn.
Second Row – 1ch, 1sc in base of 1ch, * skip 1sc, 2sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, work 1sc in last sc. Turn.
Repeat the Second Row until you have the desired length for your project.

dc. Double Crochet
