Abbreviations USA
ch.
     Chain

sc.     Single Crochet
hdc.   Half Double Crochet
dc.     Double Crochet
Rpt.   Repeat
tch.    Turning Chain

ch2 counts as first hdc
ch3 counts as first dc

Make a chain length in multiples of 3.

First Row – Work (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in 4th ch from hook, * skip 2ch, (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch, skip 1ch, 1hdc in last ch, turn.

Second Row – ch3, work 3dc in each ch2 space to end, 1dc in top of 2tch, turn.

Third Row – ch2, skip 1dc, * work (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in next dc, skip 2dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc and ch3, skip dc, 1hdc in top of ch3. Turn.

Rpt Second and Third Rows to your preferred length.
