A comfortable collared cowl that will look smart and add a little sophistication to your
favorite outfit when made in complimentary colors, the cowl is made in the round so
can be slipped over your head easily, leave plain or adorn with your favorite accessory.
Add style to any outfit with this neck warmer cowl, make this Winter accessory with
just one ball of yarn, crocheted on a large hook it works up really quick, I have added
a brooch, but you could replace with a button if you wish.
It can be made for gifts or your own personal use!
Get ready for the chill of the Fall and Winter with this long chunky cowl, I have made
it in a mixed color yarn, but you can use one shade if you wish, the fpdc & bpdc give
it that chunky look and feel, I have finished it off with an edging of a flurry of shells.
I’m pointing my spotlight on Kathy Lashley from Elk Studio this week for my Designers Corner, Kathy has been crocheting for over 30 years, she is also
an Annie’s instructor and has done an instructional video for left handed
crocheters, check out some of her beautiful designs with the links below.
Make this slanting shells cowl as a treat to yourself to ward off the last few weeks
of Winter, it is a great replacement for a scarf, made in a worsted weight yarn with
a leaning shell design, wear it loose around your neck for style or folded over for
warmth, I have crocheted it in a pretty lilac color, but it would look nice in dark
