I have added a crochet brick stitch to my crochet stitch category, it is a lovely close
stitch made with a main color yarn and a splash of contrast color to bring it alive,
use for place mats, coasters, dishcloths, pot holders or blankets and throws.
I have used 2 colors, but you could use a few different contrast colors if you wish.
A crisscross bonnet, designed for a 3-6 month baby and ideal for when they are
starting to sit up and take notice of things around them, as well as keeping those
little ears warm, I have made it in a main color with a contrast edging, easy to
crochet and works up in a couple of hours, can be paired with the baby scratch
mitts pattern (see link below) to make a set.
This woodland newborn beanie is perfect for the new arrival, the main part
of the hat is made in an easy double crochet stitch with the folded back brim
crochet in a textured stitch. I have edged in a contrast color with a matching
pom-pom and decorated with an animal motif, but a wooden button would
also look just as good. Add it to any outfit for days out.
Warm cozy scarves, this is a selection of my favorite pretty colorful neck warmers
that I have found around the web, use as a fashion accessory or just to keep
you snug and warm on those chilly winter days brrrr, I don’t like the cold at all,
I’m sure you will find one you like and if you have yarn left over make one for a friend.
Crochet stripey cozy to brighten up your hot water bottle in those cold
winter months, acts as an extra layer between the bottle and your skin,
cuddle up to this raised stitch stripey cover to keep warm, it is an easy and
quick pattern to work up. The design allows you to fill up the bottle
without taking the cozy off.
