I have used approximately:-
70 grams of King Cole Big Value DK Yarn in colour 1
40 grams of King Cole Big Value DK Yarn in colour 2
TENSION – 5tr & 2 rows measures approx 1 inch

Made in rounds without turning throughout,
Using colour 1 make a magic circle, work 3ch, (RS) 12tr into ring, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (12tr + 3ch)
2nd Round – (Inc row) 3ch, 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (24tr + 3ch)
3rd Round – (Inc row) 3ch, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (36tr + 3ch)
4th Round – (Inc row) 3ch, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (48tr + 3ch)
5th Round – (Inc row) 3ch, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (60tr + 3ch)
6th Round – (Inc) 3ch, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 4tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (72tr + 3ch)
7th Round – (Inc) 3ch, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of next 5tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (84tr + 3ch)
8th Round – 2ch, * (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into next tr, miss 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first tr2tog on beginning of row. (28 Groups)
9th Round – ss to first 1ch space, make 2ch, (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into same space, work (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into each 1ch space to end, ss to first tr2tog on beginning
of row.
Rpt 9th Round in colour sequence as follows:-
3 times more in colour 1
8 times more in colour 2
3 times more in colour 1
Top of bag & Handles – continuing with colour 1, make 2ch, work 1htr into base of 2ch, 1htr into each 1ch space and tr2tog to end, ss to first htr on beginning of row. (84htr)
25th Round – (Handles) 2ch, 1htr into base of 2ch, 1htr into each of next 13htr, make 60ch loosely, miss 14htr, 1htr into each of next 28htr, make 60ch loosely, miss 14htr, 1htr into each of next 14htr, ss to first htr on beginning of row.
26th Round – 2ch, 1htr into base of htr, 1htr into each htr and ch to end, ss to first htr on beginning on row. (176htr)
27th Round – 2ch, 1htr into base of htr, 1htr into each htr to end, ss to first htr. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
