To fit mug size approx:- 3 Inch diameter x 4 Inches high
Materials
I have used for each Mug warmer:-
20 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in colour 1
Small amount of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in colour 2
4.50mm crochet hook, medium size button
TENSION – 4dc & 5 rows measures approx 1 inch
Worked in rounds without turning until 6th Round
With colour 1 make magic circle, (RS) work 1ch, 12dc into ring, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (12dc)
2nd Round – 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (23tr + 3ch)
3rd Round – 1ch 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (24dc)
4th Round – 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into next dc, 2tr into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, 1tr into dc, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (35tr + 3ch)
5th Round – Rpt 3rd Round. (36dc)
6th Round – Working into back loop of stitch only make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 34dc, turn leaving 1dc un-worked. (35dc)
7th to 9th Round – Working through both loops of stitch from now on, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off at the end of 9th Round. Turn.
10th Round – Join in colour 2, make 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end. Turn. (34tr + 3ch)
11th Round – 3ch, * bptr around next tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr and 3ch to turn with, bptr around tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
12th Round – 3ch, * fptr around next tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr and 3ch to turn with, fptr around tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt 11th Round once. Fasten off. Turn.
14th Round – Join in colour 1, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end. Turn.
15th & 16th Round – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.
17th Round – 1ch 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to last dc, 3dc into dc, working down first side of split for mug handle, work 12dc evenly into row ends, 1dc into dc, 12dc evenly into row ends up second side of split for mug handle, 1dc into corner, ss to next dc, make 10ch, (button loop) ss into same corner. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in all loose ends of cotton, sew on a button to correspond with button loop.
