Dec. Decrease
pull up loop from each of next 2dc, yrh, pull through all loops.

Granule Stitch. Pull up loop from next dc, make 3ch, yrh, pull though 2 loops. (see pic)

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Approx size: 3.5 inches x 20 inches

Materials
I have used:-
40 grams of Paintbox Simply DK

5.00mm Clover crochet hook, large button

TENSION – 4dc & 5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Make 5ch, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (4dc)

Row 2 – (Inc Row) 1ch, dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to last dc, 2dc into dc. Turn. (5dc)

Rpt the last row until you have 13dc. Turn.

Pattern Row 1 – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * granule st into next dc (see abbrev and pic) 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (6, granule)

Pattern Row 2 – (RS) 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each st to end. Turn. (13dc)

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 thirty three more times or until 34 granule stitch rows have been worked in all.

Decrease Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to last 2dc, dec 1dc over last 2dc (see abbrev). Turn. (12dc)

Rpt last row until you have 4dc remaining. Turn.

With WS facing fold headband in half, slip stitch the starting chain edge and last dc row worked together to form a round.

Finishing – Weave in all loose ends of yarn and trim, attach button over the ss seam.
