Crochet Petal Flower UK – I don’t think you can have enough flowers appliques for decoration, this one is so sweet and easy to make.
You can crochet it up in approx 10 minutes and use on most items such as pillows, cushions, bags, cowls etc.

Small amount of King Cole Big Value Baby DK yarn

Made in rounds without turning throughout.
Make a magic circle, (RS) Work 3ch, 1tr into circle, * make 8ch, ss to top of last tr worked, work 3tr into circle, * rpt from * to * until you have worked 5, 8ch loops and 16tr, make 8ch, ss to top of last tr worked, 1tr into circle, pull loose thread to close, sl st to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (17tr, 6, 8ch loops + 3ch)
2nd Row – (Petals) * work (1dc, 2htr, 6tr, 2htr, 1dc) into 8ch loop, ss into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, working last ss into the first dc on the beginning of row.
Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in trim off loose ends of yarn.
