Abbreviations
ch. Chain
dc. Double Crochet
htr. Half Treble Crochet
tr. Treble Crochet
rpt. Repeat
ss. Slip Stitch

Work 5tr into next tr, drop the loop from your hook, insert hook from front to back through top of the first of the 5tr, pick up dropped loop and pull through loop on hook.
Base of ch. Work into first stitch
3ch counts as first tr

I have used:-
8 grams of Paintbox Simple DK in colour 1
Small amount of Paintbox Simple DK in colour 2

Worked in rounds without turning throughout.
Using colour 1 make a magic circle, work 3ch, 15tr into circle, pull loose yarn to close, join with ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off. (15tr + 3ch)
Round 2 – Join in colour 2 with a ss to top of 3ch, make 3ch, 4tr into base of 3ch, (drop loop from hook), inset hook from front to back into the top of 3ch, pick up and pull dropped loop through the stitch on the hook) * make 2ch, miss 1tr, work 1pc into next tr, (see abbrev) * rpt from * to * to last tr, make 2ch, miss 1tr, ss to first pc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (8pc)
Round 3 – (Petals) Join colour 1 to any 2ch space, 1ch, (1dc, 8ch, 1dc) into same 2ch space, * make 1ch, miss 1pc, (1dc, 8ch, 1dc) into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, make 1ch, miss 1pc, ss to first dc.
Round 4 – * (1dc, 3htr, 2tr, 2ch, 2tr, 3htr, 1dc) into next 8ch space, ss into next 1ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first dc. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off loose ends of yarn.
