May’s designers corner is aimed at crochetncrafts.
Rhelena has written many patterns from afghan squares to ladies wraps, I have listed below a few of her designs, but pop on over to her site to see her full collection.
Crochetncrafts Designs
1) Crochet Flower Coaster
A pretty pattern done up in the Canadian Patriotic colors. However, choose any colors you like to clean up your stash. I used two colors for one, and only one color for the next, and both turned out lovely. I used a #4 cotton, but any yarn will work depending on what you want to use this for.
2) Simple Crochet Dishcloth Pattern
This crochet dishcloth features a simple, yet pretty lace stitch. It’s great for the kitchen, the bathroom, or for cleaning and dusting around the home. The finished size measures 7 by 7 inches, but can be increased as needed in the multiple provided.
3) Picot Burst Scrubby
Crochet this cute scrubby in one or more colors. In one color you can work it all from one side, and in three colors, you have the option to turn and start each round with a standing crochet stitch. That way you get a nice clean finish between the color changes. And it’s also the perfect pattern for cleaning up your smallest amounts of scraps.
4) Small Bullion Doily
This doily is a simple add-on for the bullion stitch coaster that I did a while back. I thought I could crochet an entire rug by following the pattern. But as you can see, I didn’t get very far. So now you know how it goes in the crochet design world: Sometimes you win. But you never lose when you follow your inspirations. Can you please Pin this post for others to view and for when you need them too!
Will be back soon with another free crochet pattern.
