Poncho Round Up

Save this pattern for later!

Someone asked me if I had done a poncho round up recently and I realized I hadn’t, so I went surfing to see what I could find. There are so many shapes, stitch patterns and colors available it was hard to choose, but I hope you will like the seven free crochet patterns that I have found. They are great for slipping on when the summer evenings start to go cooler, enjoy!

See below the names and links for each pattern in this Poncho round up

1)  Pretty Gemstone Lace Poncho by The Lavender Chair
Worked in the round, using worsted weight yarn and a 5.50mm hook.

2)  Southern Spring Fling Poncho by Elk Studio
If you love to crochet while watching television or riding in a car…..here’s the project for you!  It’s super simple and you really just keep repeating one round until you’ve
reached your desired size.

3)  Stripey Poncho by Crochet Kim
Gorgeous stripey effect, made in an easy stitch.

4)  Dragonfly Poncho by Pattern Paradise
The dragonfly poncho was actually inspired by a special request. These little dragonflies are so much fun to make. The poncho is sized for child and adult sizes.

5)  Scrap Happy Poncho by Posh Pouch Designs
Make this Poncho from your left over yarn. I think it will look great with jeans, or leggings, skirts and just about anything.

6)  Cowl Poncho by Crochet ‘n’ Crafts
Although the pattern is very simple, I included a lot of photos to help in the various steps to hopefully make it easier for those who are still new to crocheting.

7)  Circular Poncho by Jessie at Home
This Circular Poncho has been an idea in my head for months and months. I finally got around to creating it and I love it! It’s shorter in the front so you can use your arms without having to find them.
