Easy crochet cable stitch, there is something about cables I love, they are perfect for so many different projects including baby blankets and afghans, plus scarves, hats, cardigans and more.
This is an easy design that is made up of single and double crochet stitches, once you get the momentum, it is very quick to do.
I have crocheted the samples in a worsted weight yarn, but you can use any ply yarn to suit your project, the finished pattern turned out so soft.

Formats
Two formats have been used to write this easy crochet cable stitch tutorial, UK and USA crocheters.
Best Yarn
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn in the pattern materials section.
I have used Bernat Softee Baby yarn in prettiest pink and mint for the easy crochet cable stitch tutorial.
Crochet Hook Size
I have used a 5.50mm crochet hook size for the samples of the easy crochet cable stitch tutorial, but check the ball band of the yarn that you are using for the correct hook size for that ply.
