Free Crochet Pattern Snowflake Tree Decoration UK – I have crocheted these pretty snowflakes in white, but you can make them in red and green to add some color to your room if you wish.
If make a few you can hang them individually as ornaments on your Christmas tree or use them on your gifts as toppers.
The materials I have used for the sample are Paintbox Simply DK yarn in color White using 4.00mm Clover crochet hook

Small amount of Paintbox Simply DK

Made in rounds without turning throughout.
Make a magic circle, work 3ch, (RS) 11tr into circle, pull loose thread to close, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (11tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – 7ch, * miss 1tr, 1tr into next tr, make 4ch, * rpt from * to * to last tr, miss tr, ss to 3rd of 7ch on beginning of row. (6, 4ch spaces)
3rd Row – Work * (2dc, picot, 1dc, 6ch, 1dc, picot, 2dc) into next 4ch space, miss 1tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row, make 20ch, ss to same dc. (For picot stitch see abbrev)
Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
