Crochet Forest Fruits Scarf

Crochet forest fruits scarf, a sweet and simple scarf that stitches up quite quickly, the blanket stitch adds beautiful texture with just two basic crochet stitches.

Multiples are listed in the pattern and you can add more rows to make the scarf longer if you wish.

Crochet Forest Fruits Scarf UK

ch.     Chain

dc.     Double Crochet
htr.    Half Treble Crochet
tr.      Treble Crochet
rpt.    Repeat

exdc. Extended Double Crochet
Insert hook into stitch, yrh, pull up loop (2 loops), yrh pull through 1 loop, (2 loops), yrh pull through all loops.

Group.  (1dc, 2tr) in same stitch or space

Size approx: 4 inches wide x 54 inches long or what length you require

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

120 grams of Bernat Softee yarn

An equivalent yarn would be double knitting

5.00mm crochet hook

TENSION  – 3 rows to one inch

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in multiples of 3 + 2.

Make 20ch loosely, work (1htr, 2tr) into 2nd ch from hook, * miss 2ch, work (1dc, 2tr) into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 3ch, miss 2ch, work 1exdc (see abbrev) into last ch. Turn. (6 groups)

2nd Row – 1ch, work (1htr, 2tr) into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, * miss 2tr, work (1dc, 2tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr and htr, miss 2tr, work 1exdc into htr. Turn.

Rpt 2nd Row until scarf measures 54 inches from beginning or if you wish you can add more rows to make the scarf longer. Fasten off.

Rpt 2nd Row once along the starting chain edge. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
