Easy griddle crochet scarf, crocheted using an easy one row repeat design, this lovely scarf will keep you warm in the autumn and winter months. The free crochet pattern is written for light worsted #3 yarn (double knitting for UK users) with a 4.50mm crochet hook size.
Looks lovely in any color.

Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colour 1
Equal amounts of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colours 2 & 3

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Make 26ch loosely, work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, * 1tr into next ch, 1dc into next ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (25 stitches)
2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, * 1tr into next tr, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Fasten off.
Rpt 2nd Row in colour sequence as follows:-
Six rows in colour 2, two rows in colour 1
# Six rows in colour 3, two rows in colour 1, six rows in colour 2, two rows in colour 1 #
Rpt from # to # until the required length you want for your scarf, do not turn at the end of last row.
Edging – Working into row ends down first side of scarf make 1ch, work 1dc into the row end at the base of the 1ch, * 1tr into next row end, 1dc into next row end, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Second Row – Rpt 2nd Row from scarf. Fasten off.
Rpt edging row instructions along the row ends up the second side of the scarf.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
