ch.      Chain

dc.      Double Crochet
tr.       Treble Crochet
rpt.     Repeat
yrh.    Yarn Round Hook

ps.      Puff Stitch
* yrh, insert into stitch and pull up loop, *  rpt from * to * twice more, yrh, pull through 6 loops, yrh pull through 2 loops.

Base of ch. Work in first stitch

3ch counts as first tr.

Approx Size: 4.5 x 61 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

150 grams of King Cole Comfort Aran

5.00mm crochet Hook

TENSION – 4dc & 2 rows of pattern measures approx 1 inch

Make 223ch loosely, working into back bump of stitch (see pic) work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (222dc)

front-back bump

2nd Row – 3ch, * miss 1dc, 1tr into next dc, work 1ps (see abbrev) around the post of the tr you have just worked, * rpt from * to * to last dc, work 1tr into dc. Turn. (110ps)

3rd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each stitch to end, 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn.

Rpt 2nd and 3rd Rows until 11 rows have been worked in all from beginning. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off loose ends of yarn.

Tassels x 10 – For each tassel cut 4 strands of yarn approx 6 inches long (or the length you require)

Fold each tassel in half and thread the opens ends of tassels to ends of puff stitch rows on scarf, pull open ends through loop you have created and secure, trim to make even.
