For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
Small amount of King Cole Baby Glitz DK in colours 1 & 2
3.50mm crochet hook
TENSION – 6tr and 2.5 rows measures approx 1 Inch

Made in rounds without turning.
Using colour 1 make a magic circle, (RS) work 3ch, 12tr into circle, pull loose yarn to close circle, ss to top of first tr on beginning of row. Fasten off. (12tr)
2nd Round – Join in colour 2 to first tr, make 2ch, work 1ps (see abbrev) into base of 2ch, make 2ch, * 1ps into next tr, make 2ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of first ps on beginning of row. (12, 2ch spaces)
3rd Round – 3ch, work 3tr into next 2ch space, 4tr into each 2ch space to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Fasten off. (47tr + 3ch)
4th Round – Join in colour 1, make 6ch, 1tr into base of 6ch, * miss 2tr, (1tr, 3ch, 1tr) into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr, miss last 2tr, ss to 3rd of 6ch on beginning of row. (16, 3ch spaces)
5th Round – * work 5tr into next 3ch space, ss into space between next 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, slip stitch last ss to first ss on beginning of row. Fasten off. (16 shell groups)
Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
