ss.       Slip Stitch
yrh.     Yarn Round Hook

tr2tog.  Leaving last loop of each tr on hook, work 2tr into same space or stitch, yrh and draw through all loops.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Approx Finished Size:  8.5 Diameter

For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

15 grams of King Cole Aran in each of the colours 1 & 2

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in rounds without turning throughout.

Make a magic circle, work 1ch, 16dc into circle, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first dc on beginning of round. (16dc)

2nd Round – 6ch, * miss 1dc, 1tr into next dc, make 3ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 6ch on beginning of round.

3rd Round – Work (1dc, 1htr, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr, 1htr, 1dc) into each 3ch space to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Fasten off.

4th Round – Join in colour 2 with a ss to first 1ch space, 1ch, 1dc into same space, * make 6ch, 1dc into next 1ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, make 6ch, ss to first dc on beginning of round.

5th Round – 3ch, work 7tr into next 6ch space, * 1tr into dc, 7tr into next 6ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. (63tr + 3ch)

6th Round – 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, * make 2ch, miss 1tr, tr2tog into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, make 2ch, miss next tr, ss to first tr on beginning of round.

7th Round – 6ch, * miss 2ch space, 1tr into next tr2tog, make 3ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 6ch on beginning of round. Fasten off.
