vst.    (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into same space or stitch.

Shell. (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into same space or stitch.

Group. 7tr into same space or stitch

Base of ch. Work into first stitch.

3ch counts as first tr.

Approx Finished Size:   13.25 Inch Diameter

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

60 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft yarn

3.50mm Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook

TENSION – 6tr & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Worked in rounds without turning throughout.

Make a magic circle, (RS) work 1ch, 16dc into ring, pull loose thread to close ring, ss to first dc on beginning of row.

2nd Row – 2ch, 2tr into base of 2ch, 2tr into each dc to end, ss to first tr on beginning of row. (32tr)

3rd Row – 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * make 1ch, miss 1tr, 2tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, make 1ch, miss 1tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (16, 2tr groups)

4th Row – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into next tr, * make 1ch, miss 1ch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 1ch space, make 1ch, miss 1ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.

5th Row – (Inc Row) 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 1tr into each tr to next 1ch space, * make 1ch, miss 1ch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each tr to next 1ch space, * rpt from * to * to last 1ch space, make 1ch, miss 1ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.

Rpt 5th Row until ten rows have been worked in all from beginning. (You should have 9tr between 1ch spaces)

11th Row – ss into next tr, make 3ch, work 1tr into each of next 6tr, * miss 1tr, 1vst (see abbrev) into next 1ch space, miss 1tr, 1tr into each of next 7tr, * rpt from * to * to last 1ch space, miss 1tr, work vst into space, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.

12th Row – ss into next tr, make 3ch, work 1tr into each of next 4tr, * miss 2tr, 1 shell (see abbrev) into next 1ch space, miss 2tr, 1tr into each of next 5tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr and vst, miss 2tr, work 1 shell into 1ch space of vst, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.

13th Row – ss into next tr, make 3ch, work 1tr into each of next 2tr, * make 1ch, miss 3tr, 1 group (see abbrev) into next 2ch space, make 1ch, miss 3tr, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to last shell, make 1ch, miss 2tr, work 1 group into 2ch space, make 1ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.
