Leaving last loop of each tr on hook, work 2tr into same space or stitch, yrh and draw through all 3 loops.

tr3tog        Treble Crochet 3 Together
Leaving last loop of each tr on hook, work 3tr into same space or stitch, yrh and draw through all 4 loops.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

60 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in colour 1
Small amounts of Stylecraft Special DK in colours 2 & 3

4.00mm & 4.50mm Clover crochet hook

Worked in rounds without turning throughout.

With colour 1 make a magic circle, using 4.00mm hook, (RS) make 3ch, work 1tr into circle, make 1ch, work * tr2tog, 1ch into circle, * rpt from * to * 6 more times, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (8, tr2tog)

2nd Round – ss to first 1ch space, work (3ch, 1tr, 1ch, tr2tog) into same 1ch space, make 1ch, * (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into next 1ch space, make 1ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off. (16, tr2tog)

3rd Round – Join colour 2 to first 1ch space, work (3ch, 1tr, 1ch, tr2tog) into same 1ch space, make 1ch, tr2tog into next 1ch space, make 1ch, * (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into next 1ch space, make 1ch, tr2tog into next 1ch space, make 1ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off. (24, tr2tog)

4th Round – Join colour 1 to first 1ch space, work (3ch, 1tr, 1ch, tr2tog) into same 1ch space, make 1ch, miss 1ch, (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into top of next tr2tog, make 1ch, miss 1ch, * (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into next 1ch space, make 1ch, miss 1ch, (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into top of next tr2tog, make 1ch, miss 1ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off. (32, tr2tog)

5th Round – Join colour 3 to first 1ch space, work (3ch, 1tr, 1ch, tr2tog) into same 1ch space, make 1ch, miss 1ch, * (tr2tog, 1ch, tr2tog) into next 1ch space, make 1ch, miss 1ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off.

Change to 4.50mm hook.

6th Round – Join colour 1 to first 1ch space, rpt 3rd Round. (48, tr2tog)

7th Round – ss to first 1ch space and rpt 4th Round. (64, tr2tog)

8th & 9th Rounds – Continue with colour 1, ss to first 1ch space and rpt 5th Round.

10th Round – ss to first 1ch space, work (3ch, tr2tog, 2ch, tr3tog) into same 1ch space, make 1ch, miss 1ch, * (tr3tog, 2ch, tr3tog) into next 1ch space, make 1ch, miss 1ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off. (64, tr3tog)

11th Round – Join colour 2 to first 1ch space, rpt 10th Round. Fasten off.

12th Round – Join colour 1 to first 1ch space, work (3ch, tr2tog, 2ch, tr3tog) into same 1ch space, make 2ch, * miss 1ch, * (tr3tog, 2ch, tr3tog) into next 1ch space, make 2ch, miss 1ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off.
