Picot.     Make 3ch, work 1dc into 3rd ch from hook
v-stitch. (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into same space or stitch
group.    5tr into same space or stitch

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Approx Finished Size:  10 inch diameter  

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

Small amounts of Double Knitting Yarn in colours 1, 2 & 3

4.00mm crochet hook

Made in rounds without turning until the end of 9th Round.

With colour 1 make a magic circle, work 3ch, 15tr into circle, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round.

2nd Round – 5ch, * 1tr into next tr, make 2ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 5ch on beginning of round. Fasten off.

3rd Round – Join in colour 2 make 6ch, * 1tr into next tr, make 3ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 6ch on beginning of round.

4th Round – 7ch, * 1tr into next tr, make 4ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 7ch on beginning of round.

5th Round – ss into first 4ch space, work 3ch, 4tr into same space, * miss 1tr, work 5tr into next 4ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off. (16 groups)

6th Round – Join in colour 3 make 5ch, 1tr into base of 5ch, miss next tr, * work (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into next tr, miss 2tr, work (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) into space between next 2 groups, miss 2tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 5ch on beginning of round. (32 v-stitch)

7th Round – ss into first 2ch space, work 3ch, 4tr into same space, work 1dc into next v-stitch, * 5tr into next v-stitch, 1dc into next v-stitch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off.

8th Round – Join colour 1 to any dc, work 9ch, 1dtr into same dc, miss 2tr, 1dc next tr, * miss 2tr, work (1dtr, 5ch, 1dtr) into next dc, miss 2tr, 1dc into next tr, rpt from * to * to end, ss 4th of 9ch.

9th Round – ss to first 5ch space make 3ch, work 8tr into same space, 1dc into dc, * 9tr into next 5ch space, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off. Turn.

10th Round – Join in colour 2 with a ss to any dc, * 1dc into each of next 4tr, (1dc, 3ch, 1dc into 3rd ch from hook, 1dc) into next tr, 1dc into each of next 4tr, ss into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, working last ss into first ss on beginning of round. (16 picots) Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
