Work 5tr in next stitch, drop loop from hook, insert hook from front to back in the first tr of the 5tr of group, pick up and pull dropped loop through stitch.
Base of ch. Work into first stitch.
3ch counts as first tr.
Approx Finished Size: 6 Inches x 6 Inches
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
10 grams of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colour 1
8 grams of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colour 2
4.50mm Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook
TENSION – 5tr & 2 rows measures approx 1 inch

Made in rows without turning until the end of 4th Row.
Make a magic circle, (RS) work 3ch, 15tr into circle, pull loose thread to close, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Fasten off. (15tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – Join colour 2 to top of 3ch on previous row with a ss, make 1ch, work PC (see abbrev) into base of 1ch, * make 3ch , miss 1tr, PC into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, make 3ch, miss tr, ss to first PC on beginning of row. Fasten off. (8PC)
3rd Row – Join colour 1 to any 3ch space with a ss, make 3ch, (2tr, 2ch, 3tr) into same space, * 1ch, miss 1PC, 3tr into next 3ch space, 1ch, miss 1PC (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) into next 3ch space, * rpt from * to * to last 3ch space, make 1ch, miss 1PC, 3tr into 3ch space, 1ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Fasten off.
4th Row – Join in colour 2 to any corner with a ss, 3ch, 2tr into same space, * 1ch, miss 3tr, 3tr into next 1ch space, * rpt * to * once, 1ch, (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) into next 2ch space, rpt * to * twice, 1ch, miss 3tr, 3tr into corner 2ch space. Turn.
5th Row – 4ch, miss 2tr, 3tr into next 1ch space, * 1ch, miss 3tr, 3tr into next 1ch space, * rpt * to * once, 1ch, (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) into next 2ch space, rpt * to * three times, 1ch, miss 2tr, 1tr into top of 3ch on previous row. Turn. Fasten off.

8th Row – Join colour 2 to first 1ch space,
working around first tr, (see pic) make 3ch, (2tr, 2ch, 3tr) into same space,
* 1ch, miss 3tr, 3tr into next 1ch space, * rpt * to * three more times,
1ch, (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) into next 2ch space, rpt * to * four times,

9th Row – Join colour 1 to any corner 2ch space with a ss, 1ch, (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) into same space, 1dc into each tr and 1ch space to end, working (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) into corners, ss to first dc on beginning of row.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
