Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

5 grams of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colour 1
5 grams of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in colour 2

4.50mm Clover Crochet Hook

Made in rows without turning throughout.

With colour 1 make 6ch, ss to first ch to form a ring, make 1ch, work 12dc into ring, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (12dc)

2nd Row – 4ch, * 1tr into next dc, make 1ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 4ch on beginning of row. (11tr, 12 chain spaces + 3ch)

3rd Row – 3ch, tr2tog (see abbrev) into next 1ch space, * make 4ch, tr3tog (see abbrev) into next 1ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, make 4ch, ss top of tr2tog on beginning of row. Fasten off.

4th Row – Join in colour 2 to next 4ch space, make 3ch, work (2tr, 2ch, 3tr) into same space, * make 2ch, work 2dc into next 4ch space, make 2ch, 2dc into next 4ch space, make 2ch, (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) into next 4ch space, * rpt from * to * to last two 4ch spaces, make 2ch, work 2dc into next 4ch space, make 2ch, 2dc into next 4ch space, make 2ch, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (4 corners made)

5th Row – 2ch, 1htr into each of next 2tr, # (2htr, 2ch, 2htr) into 2ch space, 1htr into each of next 3tr, * 1htr into 2ch space, 1htr into each of 2dc, * rpt from * to * once more, 1htr into 2ch space, 1htr into each of next 3tr, # rpt from # to # twice, (2htr, 2ch, 2htr) into 2ch space, 1htr into each of next 3tr, rpt from * to * twice, 1htr into 2ch space, ss to top of 2ch on beginning of row.

6th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each htr around, working (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) into each 2ch space (or corner) ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
