Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr.

Approx Finished Size: 5.25 x 5.25 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used:-

Small amounts of King Cole big value DK in colours 1 & 2

4.00mm Clover Crochet Hook

TENSION – 5tr & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Made in rows without turning until the end of 6th Row.

With colour 1 make a magic circle, (RS) work 1ch, 12dc into circle, pull loose thread to close circle, ss to first dc on beginning of row.

2nd Row – 4ch, * work, (1tr, 1ch) into next tr, * rpt * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 4ch on beginning of row. (11tr, 12, 1ch spaces + 3ch)

3rd Row – ss to first 1ch space, 2ch, pc (see abbrev) into same 1ch space, make 3ch * pc into next 1ch space, make 3ch, * rpt * to * to end, ss to first pc on beginning of row. (12pc)

Fasten off. Join in colour 2 to any 3ch space.

4th Row – 3ch, (2tr, 2ch, 3tr) into same space, * 3tr into each of next two 3ch spaces, (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) into next 3ch space, * rpt from * to * twice, 3tr into each of next two 3ch spaces, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.

5th & 6th Row – 3ch, * 1tr into each tr to 2ch space, (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to last remaining tr, work 1tr into each tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.

Fasten off. Join in colour 1.

7th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, working (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) in each of the corners.

Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave and trim off all loose ends of yarn.

Fasten off. Join in color 1.

7th Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end, working (2sc, ch2, 2sc) in each of the corners.

Fasten off.
