* yrh, insert into stitch and pull up loop, * rpt from * to * twice more, yrh, pull through 6 loops, yrh pull through 2 loops.
Base of ch. Work in first stitch
3ch counts as first tr.
Finished Size approx: 5 x 5 Inches

For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
10 grams of King Cole Comfort DK
4.50mm crochet hook
TENSION – 4dc & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Make 21ch loosely, work (RS) 1tr into 4th ch from hook, work 1ps (see abbrev) around the tr just worked, miss 1ch, * 1tr into next ch, work 1ps around the tr you just worked, miss 1ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch, work 1tr into ch. Turn. (9ps)
2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into stitch at base of 1ch, 1dc into each stitch to end, do not work into top of 3tch. Turn. (19dc)
3rd Row – 3ch, * 1tr into next dc, work 1ps around the tr you just worked, miss 1dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, work 1tr into dc. Turn.
Rpt 2nd and 3rd Rows until six ps rows have been worked in all. Turn.
Border – 1ch, 1dc into stitch at base of 1ch, 1dc into each stitch to end, make 1ch, 1dc into side of last dc worked, work 18dc evenly down first side, make 1ch, 1dc into side of last dc worked, 1dc into each ch along starting chain edge, make 1ch, 1dc into side of last dc made, work 18dc evenly up second side. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off loose ends.
