sc. Single Crochet
dc. Double Crochet
rpt. Repeat
tch. Turning Chain
yo. Yarn Over
ps. Puff Stitch
* yo, insert in stitch and pull up loop, * rpt from * to * twice more, yo pull through 6 loops, yo pull through 2 loops.
Base of ch. Work in first stitch
ch3 counts as first dc.

Make a chain length in multiples of 2.
1st Row – 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch to end. Turn.
2nd Row – ch3, * 1dc in next sc, work 1ps (see abbrev) around the dc you just worked, miss 1sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, work 1dc in sc. Turn.
3rd Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each stitch to end, do not work in top of 3tch. Turn.
Rpt 2nd and 3rd Rows until required length.
