Abbreviations UK
RS. Right Side
ch. Chain
tr. Treble Crochet
rpt. Repeat
yrh. Yarn Round Hook
tch. Turning Chain
tr3tog. Treble Crochet 3 Together
Leaving last loop of each tr on hook work 3tr into each of next 3tr, yrh and pull through all loops.
tr2tog. Treble Crochet 2 Together
Leaving last loop of each tr on hook work 2tr into each of next 2tr, yrh and pull through all loops.
Base of ch. Work in first stitch
3ch counts as first tr
I have used a 4.50mm crochet hook and king Cole Comfort DK yarn

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of 3 + 1.
I started with a chain length of 40, (RS) work 1tr into 4th ch from hook, * miss 2ch, 3tr into next ch, * rpt from * to * to last 3ch, miss 2ch, 2tr into last ch. Turn. (11, 3tr groups)
2nd Row – 2ch, 1tr into next tr, * make 2ch, work tr3tog over next 3tr, * rpt * to * to last tr and 3tch, make 2ch, work tr2tog over last tr and 3ch. Turn. (11 diamonds)
3rd Row – 3ch, work 3tr into each 2ch space to last tr and 2tch, 1tr into top of 2ch. Turn.
4th Row – 4ch, work * tr3tog over next 3tr, make 2ch, * rpt * to * to 3tch, make 1ch, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
5th Row – 3ch, 1tr into stitch at base of 3ch, miss next 1ch space, work 3tr into each 2ch space to last 4ch, work 2tr into 3rd of 4ch. Turn.
6th Row – 2ch, 1tr into next tr, * make 2ch, work tr3tog over next 3tr, * rpt * to * to last tr and 3tch, make 2ch, work tr2tog over last tr and 3ch. Turn.
Rpt from 3rd to 6th Rows changing colours every two rows until your required length.
