TENSION – 8tr & 2 rows of tr measured on face is approx 1 Inch square

Face – With colour 1 make a magic circle, (RS) work 3ch, 12tr into circle, close circle pulling loose thread, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. DNT. (12tr + 3ch)

2nd Row – 3ch, work 2tr into each tr to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. DNT. (24tr + 3ch)

Rpt last row once. DNT. (48tr + 3ch)

3rd Row – 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, ss into next 16tr, 2tr into next tr, 3dtr into next tr, 2tr into next tr, (first ear made) ss into next 10tr, 2tr into next tr, 3dtr into next tr, 2tr into next tr, (second ear made) ss into next 16tr, ss to first ss. Fasten off.

Nose – Using colour 2 make a magic circle, (WS) work 1ch, 12dc into circle, close circle pulling loose thread, ss to first dc on beginning of row. DNT. (12dc)

Second Row – 1ch, work 2dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. DNT. (24dc)

Third Row – 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (24dc)

Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn, with RS of nose facing attach to bottom of face, use black coloured yarn to darn on eyes, nose and mouth (see picture) decorate with a ribbon bow etc.
