Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Finished Size Approx: 6.5 inch diameter

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn

I have used approximately:-
10 grams of Paintbox Simply DK in each of colours the 1 & 2

4.50mm Clover Crochet Hook

TENSION – 4tr & 3 rows measures approx 1 inch

Worked in rounds without turning throughout.

Using colour 1 make a magic circle, (RS) 3ch work 13tr into ring, pull loose thread to close ring, ss to top of 3tch on beginning of row.

Fasten off. Join in colour 2.

2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 2dc into next tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last tr, 2dc into last tr, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (21dc)

Fasten off. Join in colour 1.

3rd Row – 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, 2tr into each dc to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (41tr + 3ch)

Fasten off. Join in colour 2.

4th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (42dc)

Fasten off. Join in colour 1.

5th Row – 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, * 1tr into next dc, 2tr into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (63tr + 3ch)

Fasten off. Join in colour 2.

6th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (64dc)

Fasten off. Join in colour 1.

7th Row – 3ch, 1tr into each dc to end, ss to the top of 3ch on the beginning of row. (63tr + 3ch)

Fasten off. Join in colour 2.

8th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1tr, 5tr into next tr, miss 1tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 3tr, miss 1tr, 5tr into next tr, miss 1tr, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (16, 5tr groups)

Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off loose ends of yarn.
