Abbreviations
ch.
     Chain

sc.     Single Crochet
dc.     Double Crochet
rpt.    Repeat
sl st.  Slip Stitch
tch.   Turning Chain

Shell. (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in same space or stitch

ch3 counts as first dc

Base of ch. Work in first stitch

Approx Finished Size:   11 x 11 Inches 

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn
I have used approximately:-

50 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK Yarn

5.00mm Clover Crochet Hook

ch44, work 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * skip 2ch, 1 shell (see abbrev) in next ch, skip 2ch, 1sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (7, shells)

2nd Row – ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, * skip 2dc, 1sc in next ch1 space, skip 2dc, 1 shell in sc, * rpt from * to * to last shell and sc, skip 2dc, 1sc in next ch1 space, skip 2dc, 3dc in sc. Turn.

3rd Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip 2dc, 1 shell in sc, skip 2dc, 1sc in next ch1 space, * rpt from * to * to end working last sc in top of 3tch. Turn.

Rpt 2nd & 3rd Rows until 23 rows have been worked in all. Turn.

24th Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch2, skip 2dc, 1sc in ch1 space, ch2, skip 2dc, 1sc in sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.

Border – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 2sc in ch2 space, 1sc in sc, * rpt from * to * across, 3sc in last sc, work sc evenly in row ends down first side of cloth, 3sc in corner, rpt from * to * across starting ch edge, 3sc in corner, work sc evenly in row ends up second side of cloth, 1sc in corner, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.

Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc around cloth to end, working 3sc in corners, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off loose ends of yarn.
