Shell. (2tr, 1ch, 2tr) into same space or stitch

3ch counts as first tr

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Approx Finished Size:   11 x 11 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn
I have used approximately:-

50 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK Yarn

5.00mm Clover Crochet Hook

Make 44ch, work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, * miss 2ch, 1 shell (see abbrev) into next ch, miss 2ch, 1dc into next ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (7, shells)

2nd Row – 3ch, 2tr into base of 3ch, * miss 2tr, 1dc into next 1ch space, miss 2tr, 1 shell into dc, * rpt from * to * to last shell and dc, miss 2tr, 1dc into next 1ch space, miss 2tr, 3tr into dc. Turn.

3rd Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 2tr, 1 shell into dc, miss 2tr, 1dc into next 1ch space, * rpt from * to * to end working last dc into top of 3tch. Turn.

Rpt 2nd & 3rd Rows until 23 rows have been worked in all. Turn.

24th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 2ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into 1ch space, make 2ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into dc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.

Border – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * 2dc into 2ch space, 1dc into dc, * rpt from * to * across, 3dc into last dc, work dc evenly into row ends down first side of cloth, 3dc into corner, rpt from * to * across starting ch edge, 3dc into corner, work dc evenly into row ends up second side of cloth, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc around cloth to end, working 3dc into corners, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off loose ends of yarn.
