I have used:-
Small amount of Stylecraft Special DK
OR an equivalent yarn would be:-
Small amount of Worsted Weight #3
4.50mm Crochet Hook
Worked in rounds without turning throughout.
Make a magic circle, (RS) work 1ch, 6dc into circle, pull loose thread of yarn to close, ss to first dc on beginning of round.
Round 2 – (Inc Row) 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 2dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. (12dc)
Round 3 – On this round work into the front loop of the stitch only.
work 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 3tr, 1htr, 1dc) into base of 1ch, (this forms a petal) * miss 1dc, (1dc, 1htr, 3tr, 1htr, 1dc) into next dc, * rpt from * to * to last dc, miss last dc, ss to first dc. (6 petals made)
You can change colour here if you wish.
Round 4 – 1ch, work 1dc into the back loop of the dc behind the next petal, * make 3ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into back loop of the dc behind the next petal, * rpt from * to * to end, make 3ch, ss to first dc on beginning of round. (6, 3ch spaces)
Round 5 – Work 1ch, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr, 4dtr, 1tr, 1htr, 1dc) into each 3ch space to end, ss to first dc on beginning of round. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
