Materials
I have used:-
100 grams of Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice Yarn
6.50mm crochet hook
Make 29ch, work 1tr in 4th ch from hook, 1tr in next ch, * make 2ch, miss 2ch, 1dc in next ch, 2ch, miss 2ch, 1tr in each of next 3ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Next Row – 3ch, 1tr in each of next 2tr, * miss 2ch, 1tr in next dc, make 3ch, work 3tr around the post of the same tr, miss 2ch, 1tr in each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to end, working last tr in top of 3ch. Turn. (3 shell groups)
Pattern Row 1 – 3ch, 1tr in each of next 2tr, * 2ch, miss 3tr, 1dc in top of 3ch, make 2ch, 1tr in each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to end, working last tr in top of 3ch. Turn.
Pattern Row 2 – 3ch, 1tr in each of next 2tr, * miss 2ch, 1tr in next dc, 3ch, work 3tr around the post of the same tr, miss 2ch, 1tr in each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to end, working last tr in top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt Pattern Rows 1 and 2 until you have worked 42 rows in all.
Rpt Pattern Row 1 once. Turn.
Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each of next 2tr, * 1dc into 2ch space, 1dc into dc, 1dc into 2ch space, 1dc into each of next 3tr, * rpt from * to * end, working last dc into top of 3ch. Turn. (21dc)
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.
Rpt last 2 dc rows along starting chain edge. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in loose ends of yarn and trim. Decorate with a large button or brooch.
