Abbreviations

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Approx finished size:   11 x 13 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn I have used:-
100 grams of Paintbox Simple DK in colour 1
20 grams of Paintbox Simple DK in colour 2

5.50mm Clover Crochet Hook

With colour 1 make 92ch loosely, (WS) 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (91dc)

Row 2 – 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each dc to end. Turn. (91tr)

Row 3 – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end. Turn.

Rpt Rows 2 & 3 three more times. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in colour 2.

Row 10 – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each st to end. Turn. (91htr)

Row 11 – 1ch, ss into base of 1ch, * 1tr into next htr, ss into next htr, * rpt from * to * to last htr, ss into htr. Turn.

Rpt Rows 10 & 11 twice more, rpt Row 10 once. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in colour 1.

Row 17 – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each htr to end. Turn.

Rpt Rows 2 & 3 nine more times. Fasten off.

With WS facing fold the bag in half width ways, ss the long sides of bag together to make a pouch.

Bag Top – Using colour 1, work 100dc evenly into row ends along top of the bag, ss to first dc. Turn.

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt last row until 5 dc rows have been worked.

Handles – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 14dc, make 60ch, miss 20dc, 1dc into each of next 30dc, make 60ch, miss 20dc, 1dc into each of next 15dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn.

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each of the next 14dc, 60ch’s, 30dc, 60ch’s and 15dc, ss to first dc. Turn. (180dc)

Next Row – Join in color 2, 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in color 1 and rpt last row once. Fasten off.

Finishing – Turn Through to RS, weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn, attach flowers to front of bag.
