Finished Size: Approx 44.5 inches x 18.5 inches
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
160 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in color 1
60 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft DK in each of the colors 2, 3 & 4
An equivalent yarn would be a Light Worsted #3 cotton yarn
GAUGE – 2, hdc3tog & 2.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Crochet Mediterranean Summer Wrap
Using color 1, ch171, work hdc3tog (see abbrev) over the 5th, 6th and 7th ch from the hook, * ch1, work hdc3tog over previous ch and following ch2, (see pic) * rpt from * to * to last ch, ch1, work 1dc in last ch. Turn. (83 hdc3tog)
2nd Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each ch1 space and hdc3tog to 4tch, 1sc in ch4 space, 1sc in 3rd of ch4. Turn. (169sc)
3rd Row – ch4, work hdc3tog over next 3sc, * ch1, work hdc3tog over previous sc and following 2sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, ch1, work 1dc in last ch. Turn.
4th Row – Rpt 2nd Row.
Rpt 3rd and 4th rows in color sequence as follows:-
Twice in color 1
Four times in color 2
once in color 1
Four times in color 3
once in color 1
Four times in color 4
Three times in color 1
Work 3rd Row once.
Border – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each ch1 space and hdc3tog to 4tch, 1sc in ch4 space, 3sc in 3rd of ch4, work 67sc evenly in row ends down first side of wrap to end, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each ch along starting chain edge, 3sc in corner, 67sc evenly in row ends up second side of wrap, 1sc in corner, sl st to first sc on beginning of row.
Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in trim off all loose ends of yarn.
