Crochet slip through hdc stitch, this easy to crochet tutorial is suitable for many projects including blankets, cushions, sweater scarves or beanie hats.
I have used a worsted weight yarn for samples, but it will work well with other weights too.

Formats
Two formats have been used to write this easy crochet slip through hdc stitch tutorial, UK and
USA crocheters.
Best Yarn
I have used King Cole Aran yarn in cornflower and cream for the easy crochet slip through hdc stitch tutorial.

rpt. Repeat
yrh. Yarn Round Hook
sthtr. Slip Through Half Treble Stitch
yrh, insert hook into stitch, pull up loop, (3 loops on hook) pull 3rd loop though 2nd and first loop.
Base of ch. Work into first stitch.

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
Made in multiples of any number of ch.
I made 16ch for samples, work 1htr into 4th ch from hook, 1htr into each ch to end. Turn.
Row 2 – Make 1ch, work sthtr (see abbrev) into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work sthtr into each htr to end. Turn.
Row 3 – 1ch, 1htr into the stitch at the base of the 2ch, 1htr into each stitch to end. Turn.
Row 4 – Make 1ch, work sthtr into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work sthtr into each htr to end. Turn.
Rpt Rows 3 & 4 until required length, change colours every 2 rows if you wish to use more colours.
USA format below:-
