* yrh insert hook into next stitch and pull up loop, * rpt from * to * twice into same stitch, (7 loops on hook), yrh pull through the first 6 loops, yrh pull through 2 loops.
Base of ch. Work into first stitch
Approx Size to fit: Adult
19 inches circumference x 5 inch height
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
60 grams of Stylecraft Special Aran yarn

Made in multiples of 2 + 1.
Make 69ch loosely, (RS) work 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn (68dc)
2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into each stitch to end. Turn.
3rd Row – # # make 1ch, work 1dc in base of 1ch, * miss 1dc, 1dc in next dc, working across the front of the last dc into the missed dc, work 1ps, (see abbrev) * rpt from * to * to last dc, 1dc in dc. Turn. (33ps)
Starting each row with 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work 3 rows of 1dc into each stitch to end, turn at the end of each row. # #
Rpt from # # to # # until three puff stitch rows have been worked. Turn.
Rpt 3rd Row. Turn.
Starting each row with 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work 2 rows of 1dc into each stitch to end, turn at the end of each row. Fasten off.
Finishing – Working on the WS of your work weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn, fold in half lengthways and slot ends into a sandwich, sew through all four sides to secure (see pics) turn through to RS.
