I have used:-
50 grams of King Cole Big Value Baby DK Yarn in colour 1
Small amount of King Cole Big Value Baby DK Yarn in colours 2 & 3

4.00mm & 4.50mm crochet hook, 1 button

TENSION – 5htr and 3.5 rows of htr measures approx 1 inch

Bib – (RS) Using 4.00mm hook and colour 1, make 24ch, 1htr into 2nd ch from hook, 1htr into each ch to end of ch. Turn. (23htr)

2nd row – (Inc row) 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 2htr into next htr, 1htr into each htr to last 2htr, 2htr into next htr, 1htr into last htr. Turn. (25htr)

3rd row – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each htr to end. Turn.

4th to 9th rows – Rpt last 2 rows until you have 31htr in all. Fasten off. Turn.

10th and 11th Row – Join in colour 2, rpt 3rd Row. Fasten off.

12th and 13th Row – Join in colour 1, rpt 3rd Row. Fasten off.

14th and 15th Row – Join in colour 3, rpt 3rd Row. Fasten off.

16th to 22nd Rows – Join in colour 1, rpt 3rd Row. Turn.

Work should measure approx 6.5 Inches from beginning.

Row 1 – (RS) 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr into each of next 5htr, dec 1htr over next 2htr, turn leaving remaining 23htr un-worked. (see abbrev for dec). (7htr)

Row 2 – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, dec 1htr over next 2htr, 1htr into each htr to end. Turn. (6htr)

Row 3 – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, 1htr in each htr to last 3htr, dec 1htr over next 2htr, 1htr into last htr. Turn. (5htr)

Rpt 3rd Row from bib 10 times. (add more rows here if you wish)

Row 14 – (WS) 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, dec 1htr over next 2htr, 1htr into last 2htr. Turn. (4htr)

Row 15 – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, dec 1htr over next 2htr, 1htr into last htr. (3htr)

Row 16 – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, dec 1htr over next 2htr. Fasten off.

Second Side – With RS of work facing, miss next 15htr, using colour 1, yrh pull up a loop from next 2htr, yrh, pull through all loops, 1htr into each htr to end. Turn. (7htr)

Row Two – 1ch, 1htr in base of 1ch, 1htr into each htr to last 3htr, dec 1htr over next 2htr, 1htr into last htr. Turn. (6htr)

Row Three – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, dec 1htr over next 2htr, 1htr into each htr to end. Turn. (5htr)

Rpt 3rd Row from bib 10 times. (add more rows here if you wish)

Row Fourteen – (WS) 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, dec 1htr over next 2htr, 1htr into last 2htr. Turn. (4htr)

Row Fifteen – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, dec 1htr over next 2htr, 1htr into last htr. (3htr)

Row Sixteen – 1ch, 1htr into base of 1ch, dec 1htr over next 2htr. Fasten off.

Edging – With RS facing and 4.50mm hook join colour 1 with a ss to top left corner of neck edge, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work one row of dc evenly all around outer edge of bib to end, ss to first dc on the beginning of row. Fasten off.

Buttonhole Row – Join in colour 2, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to last 2dc, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into last dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (1 buttonhole made)

Next Row – 1ch, (1dc, 2tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2tr, (1dc, 2tr) into next dc, * rpt from * to * around all sides to last 2tr and dc, miss 2tr, 1dc into last dc, ss to first dc. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn, attach button to correspond with button hole.
