Two formats have been used to write this crochet easy pocket scarf free pattern, UK and USA crocheters.

I have used King Cole Acorn Aran yarn in colour nettle for the crochet easy pocket scarf free pattern.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Finished Length:   7.5 x 60 Inches

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

300 grams of King Cole Acorn Aran yarn

5.50mm crochet hook

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in any number ch’s + 1

Make 301ch, 1dc into the 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (300dc)

2nd Row – 1ch, 1htr into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work 1htr into each dc to end. Turn. (300htr)

3rd Row – Working into FLO (see abbrev) work 1ch, 1htr into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, work 1htr into each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt 3rd Row until 17htr rows have been worked in all. Turn.

18th Row – 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into each htr to end. Fasten off.

Pockets – Fold each end of scarf in by approx 10 inches, whip stitch the sides together to make the pockets.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn, turn pockets through to your right side.
