Crochet Lemon Peel Stitch – An all over textured design that is easy to learn and looks beautiful when made.
A simple one row design that is quick to produce, if you use a thick yarn and large hook it grows very quickly and will produce lovely warm and cuddly afghans and baby blankets.

The materials used for the swatches were Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in colors White and Periwinkle using a 6.00mm Clover crochet hook

Abbreviations USA
ch. Chain
sc. Single crochet
dc. Double crochet
rpt. Repeat
Make a chain length in multiples of 2 + 1
1st Row – Work 1sc in second ch from hook, 1dc in next ch, * 1sc in next ch, 1dc in next ch,* rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
2nd Row – ch1, * 1sc in base of ch1, 1dc in next sc, * 1sc in next dc, 1dc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Rpt 2nd Row until you’ve reached your desired length.
