Abbreviations
RS. Right Side
ch. Chain
sc. Single Crochet
hdc. Half Double Crochet
dc. Double Crochet

sl st. Slip Stitch

Dec. Decrease
Pull up a loop from each of next 2 stitches, yo pull though all loops.
Base of ch. Work in first stitch
ch3 counts as first dc
Approx Finished Size: 11.5 x 11 Inches
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn
I have used approximately:-
300 grams of Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie
GAUGE – 4dc & 2 rows measures approx 1 inch

ch39, (RS) work 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in each ch to end. Turn. (36dc + ch3)
2nd Row – ch2, 1hdc in next dc, * ch3, skip 3dc, 1hdc in each of next 2dc, * rpt from * to * to end, work last hdc in top of 3tch. Turn. (7, ch3 spaces)
3rd Row – ch3, work 1dc in next hdc, * 3dc in ch3 space, 1dc in each of next 2hdc, * rpt from * to * to last ch3 space, hdc and 2tch, work 3dc in ch3 space, 1dc in hdc, 1dc in top of ch2. Turn. (36dc + 3tch)
Rpt 2nd & 3rd Rows until 17 rows have been worked in all or work measures approx 9 inches from beginning Turn.
Border – ch1, 1sc in the base of ch1, * 1sc in next 4dc, dec 1sc (see abbrev) over next 2dc, * rpt from * to * 4 more times, 1sc in next dc, 3sc in corner, DNT, work 30sc evenly along in row ends down first side of cloth, 3sc in corner, rpt from * to * to along starting ch edge to last dc and 3tch, 1sc in dc, 3sc in tch, work 30sc evenly in row ends up second side of cloth, 1sc in corner, sl st to first sc on the beginning of row. Turn.
Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, sl st and turning at the end of each row work 2 more rows in sc.
Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave and trim off any loose ends of yarn.
