RS. Right Side
ch. Chain
dc. Double Crochet
tr. Treble Crochet
ss. Slip Stitch
rpt. Repeat
pc. Popcorn Stitch
Work 5tr in next stitch, drop loop from hook, insert hook from front to back in the first tr of the 5tr of group, pick up and pull dropped loop through stitch.
Base of ch. Work into first stitch.
Approx Finished Size: 4.5 Inch Diameter
Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-
15 grams of King Cole Cottonsoft yarn in colour 1
Small amount of King Cole Cottonsoft yarn in colour 2
4.50mm Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook
TENSION – 2pc & 1.5 rows measures approx 1 inch

Front – With colour 1 make magic circle, (RS) work 1ch, (1pc, 2ch) eight times into circle, pull loose thread to close, ss to first pc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (8, 2ch spaces + 8pc) (see abbrev for pc)
Second Row – ss colour 2 to next 2ch space, work 1ch, (1pc, 2ch, 1pc) into same 2ch space, make 2ch, * (1pc, 2ch, 1pc) into next 2ch space, make 2ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to first pc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (16, 2ch spaces + 16pc)
Third Row – ss colour 1 to next 2ch space, work 1ch, 1pc into same 2ch space, * make 2ch, (1pc, 2ch, 1pc) into next 1ch space, make 2ch, 1pc into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to last 2ch space, make 2ch, (1pc, 2ch, 1pc) into 2ch space, make 2ch, ss to first pc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (24, 2ch spaces + 24pc)
Holder – Make 8ch, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (7dc)
2nd Row – 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.
Rpt 2nd Row until you have 16 rows worked in all. Fasten off.
Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn, attach holder by laying it across the WS of the front piece and whip stitch each end to secure. (see pics)
