ch. Chain
sc. Single Crochet
dc. Double Crochet
rpt. Repeat
Group. Work 5dc in same stitch or space.
Base of ch. Work in first stitch

Using colour 1 make a chain length in multiples of 6 + 2
1st Row – 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, * skip 2ch, work 5dc in next ch, skip 2ch, 1sc in next ch, rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Fasten off. Join in color 2
2nd Row – 3ch, 1dc in base of 3ch, ch1, skip 2dc, * 1sc in next dc, ch1, skip (2dc & 1sc), 1dc in next dc, ch1, working in front of the dc you just made, skip sc, work 1dc in next dc, ch1, skip 1dc, * rpt from * to * to last 4dc and sc, ch1, skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, ch1, skip 2dc, 2dc in last sc. Turn.
3rd Row – ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, skip ch1 space, * 1sc in next sc, skip ch1 space, work 5dc group in next ch1 space (between the next 2 crossed dc), skip ch1, * rpt from * to * to last sc, ch1, dc and 3tch, work sc in sc, skip ch1 and dc, work 3dc in top of 3ch. Turn.
Fasten off. Join in color 3
4th Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1 * ch1, skip (2dc & 1sc), 1dc in next dc, ch1, working in front of the dc you just made, skip sc, work 1dc in next dc, ch1, skip 1dc, 1sc in next dc, * rpt from * to * to end, ch1, work 1sc in top of ch3. Turn.
5th Row – 1ch, 1sc in base of ch1, * skip ch1, work 5dc in ch1 space (between next 2 crossed dc), skip ch1, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Rpt the 2nd to 5th Rows changing colors every 2 rows as set until required length.

Fasten off. Join in color 3
4th Row – 1ch, 1dc in base of 1ch * make 1ch, miss (2tr & 1dc), 1tr into next tr, make 1ch, working in front of the tr you just made, miss dc, work 1tr into next tr, make 1ch, miss 1tr, 1dc into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, make 1ch, work 1dc into top of 3ch. Turn.
5th Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * miss 1ch, work 5tr into next 1ch space (between next 2 crossed tr), miss 1ch, 1dc into next dc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.
Rep the 2nd to 5th Rows changing colors every 2 rows as set until required length.
