Abbreviations UK
ch.      Chain
tr.       Treble Crochet
rpt.     Repeat

ss.       Slip Stitch
tch.     Turning Chain

yrh.     Yarn Round Hook

tr3tog.
Leaving last loop of each tr on hook, work 3tr in next stitch, yrh, draw through all loops.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

3ch counts as first tr
5ch counts as first tr + 2ch

Approx Finished Size:  4.5 Inch diameter

Materials
For great results it is always best to use the recommended yarn, I have used approximately:-

40 grams of King Cole Comfort Aran in colour 1 (makes 6)
Small amount of King Cole Comfort Aran in colour 2

UK INSTRUCTIONS:

Made in rounds without turning throughout.

With colour 1 make a magic circle, Work 3ch, 11tr into circle, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off.

Join in colour 2.

2nd Round – 5ch, * 1tr into next tr, make 2ch, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to 3rd of 5ch on beginning of round. Fasten off.

Join in colour 1.

3rd Round – ss to first 2ch space, make 2ch, leaving last loop from each on hook, work 2tr into same space, yrh, pull through all loops, * make 3ch, tr3tog (see abbrev) into next 2ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, make 3ch, ss to first tr3tog.

4th Round – ss to first 3ch space, work 3ch, 4tr into same space, * ss into top of tr3tog, 5tr into next 3ch space, * rpt from * to * to end, ss into top of last tr3tog, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of round. Fasten off.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
